The second coming of Jesus Christ happens in the life of every believer, during their lifetime. This is why Christ said “This generation shall not pass til all these things be fulfilled.” There is only one generation, singular, one seed (seed of Christ) of which every believer/elect is a part. And as a believer, every “jot and tittle” of scripture must and will be fulfilled in your lifetime, inwardly. The Kingdom of God is within. The Kingdom of God comes not with observation. If you are looking “out there” for a Jesus to descend from literal clouds, then you are still in darkness. He must descend within the believer first, before any literal can possibly happen. If you are an elect, Christ is descending from the clouds that had blocked the light of Christ in your heavens (mind) and now you are being shown the man of sin who you’ve been unknowingly ruled by. This is the starting point.
2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Who is this man of sin, the son of perdition, who opposes God and exalts Himself as God…sitting in the temple of God, as God? What temple? Is it the Jewish temple in Israel? Is it the Islamic or Hindu temple? Where is this temple? What continent will this temple be located? Wherever I’m standing right now, today, is the location of that temple. The man of sin is in my temple saying that he is God, proclaiming his sovereignty over all the kingdoms of my world, in a thousand different ways. Remember the Kingdom of God is Within. How do I identify this man of sin within me? I will give a small example from my life, of just one of the countless ways my man of sin was exposed. I used to drive a half an hour out of my way and pay 3 times more for a certain milk that I believed was better for my health. This thought (doctrine) was passed on to me by another person who described this “milk god” to me. He said it was non-pasteurized (because the pasteurization god is VERY bad), non homogenized (this god is even worse), bottled by a local farmer (because the “buy all things local” god needs my monetary support because apparently he’s a lesser god than the supermarket god, who already has all the followers he needs. All of these “judgments” are for self-preservation of my beast. I do not believe that there is a God sovereign over ALL things, and by Him all things consist. There is only ONE God, one Creator. The man of sin does not believe this. He believes he is the god of his world and he can and should make all the choices, decisions, judgments that will benefit his survival and pleasure. Anyway, back to my milk example. After months of extra driving and spending, one day this “special” milk/god was unavailable to purchase. In a pinch, I had to relent and buy a generic brand of milk. I wasn’t happy about it but had no choice. Here is where the spirit of God steps in and exposed my false doctrine about milk and my man of sin at the same time. To my surprise, this generic milk tasted better than the “healthy” milk I was running “to and fro” to purchase. In a still small voice, the Truth came to me, the spirit of Christ spoke to me and asked “Who makes all milk?” and I said “You do, Lord.” And He then tells me to “Rest in that knowledge and have no fear. I provide all you need. All is pure to the pure in heart. See me in all things and you will have rest.” And this is an example, a small ray of the brightness of His coming described in the book of Revelation. This is going on daily, hourly, minute by minute in the life of a believer. He is converting and recreating a new man, in HIS image who worships God in Truth, as the sovereign power over ALL THINGS. He rules the powers, principalities, thrones, dominions in my world, as well as the world outside.
This example is a speck of sand on a beach. From birth we begin forming our temple to the man of sin – it’s the formation of our identity by a thousand different choices we make everyday from the time we’re old enough to start making decisions. This is Eve eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is the “strong delusion” sent to all mankind that he himself is god and can chart his own path and make his own choices and must do so, to survive and have pleasure. This god is in darkness, blind to the Truth. This god is our beast nature that all mankind has – made by Jesus Christ, the ONLY creator, for a purpose. It’s the petri dish He is using to draw His elect out of, changing them, into an image of Himself….no longer to be a beast, but a son of God.
The Israelites being led out of Egypt by a cloud is a type and figure of the darkness that keeps parts of me from seeing Christ. It’s darkness to my old man, but light to my new man. It’s also parable and a prophecy of the process of the second coming because as I’m led out of my Egypt (old ways of thinking/believing i.e. I’m my own god), it becomes light to my new man (new way of thinking/BELIEF in Christ as my Creator).
“Exo 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.”
The truth is darkness to my man of sin. My man of sin exists in his own works and everything he does is for himself. He is a beast at heart but covers his beastly nature with lies that makes it appear he is not a beast. When Christ begins His descension in an elect’s life He reveals to us this beast.
“Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
The man of sin is the serpent whispering to our flesh that it can eat of the knowledge of good and evil and be its own God. If you have read the Revelation of Jesus Christ In Us post in full then you have begun to understand that the serpent in the garden of Eden is in each of us. It is the mind of a beast that reasons in itself that it is God independent and separate from God. The garden, the woman, the serpent are parables of what is created in each Elect’s life. Parables are made by God for the Elect to rightly worship Him (not ourselves). When Christ is coming into your life He begins to unlock these parables and allow you to see God in the truth of His sovereignty – that He is the Creator, not you. This is freedom in Christ:
Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Mat 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mat 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
This is our creative process where we begin to see that we are BEING created into the image of Christ which is His second coming.
“Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. “
We are being created into the image of Christ, Who was created in the image of God.
“Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him (Christ created us):”
“Col 1:15 (Christ) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Two things happen when Christ begins coming into an Elect’s life. First the man of sin is revealed. As the scales fell off Paul’s eyes so the scales fall off our eyes and we see in reality who the beast is, was not and yet is. First there must come the falling away of the scales from our eyes to see ourselves at our core.
“2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
Then when we are shown our man of sin Christ appears to us and we begin seeing in truth of what we were, are and will be as a beast on a daily basis. Each day gets brighter and brighter until Christ has totally risen in our hearts and we are the new man – made into the image of Christ. The complete day of Christ is not fully revealed until every dominion of the man of sin in our lives is seen for what they are. Then shall Christ be fully revealed and we shall have walked away as Enoch and been changed in a twinkling of the eye. It is our last trump. Christ is holding the revealing back until He has prepared us to see what we are. Then when Christ removes the scales, the man of sin is revealed. But we must remember that we don’t see Christ, the day of Christ until we see who we are as a beast. And this process is not a one and done, a 10 second sinner’s prayer but a process of being shown over and over until the deepest, darkest dominion of the man of sin is revealed and put down. We must not think it strange about the fiery trial we must go through as the man of sin is being put down. 1 Peter 4:12
“2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity (self-righteous serpent doctrine) doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Again, if you have read the Revelation study in full you know that Satan is not a fallen angel, a spirit floating around creating havoc at every turn, tempting me to do things I don’t want to do, against my will and causing outward world wars and chaos. He is the serpent that was created in our garden.
“The parable of the serpent, that tempted her, was her own fleshly lust to have more than what God had provided, to be an individual from her husband and from God – to think for herself, to make her own decisions about what was good and evil for herself as an individual.” Eve is the personification/parable of what is inside all of us. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”
“The word “Serpent” in Genesis 3:1 is the following; H5175 from H5172 . H5172 : A primitive root; properly to hiss, that is, whisper a (magic) spell; generally to prognosticate: – X certainly, divine, enchanter, (use) X enchantment, learn by experience, X indeed, diligently observe. It also says that the serpent was more “subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made”. “H6175-cunning (usually in a bad sense): – crafty, prudent, subtil. From H6191;properly to be (or make) bare; but used only in the derived sense (through the idea perhaps of smoothness) bo be cunning (usually in a bad sense): – X very, beware, take crafty [counsel], be prudent, deal subtilly.
“The word “beast” is most often translated “life and living”. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life “beast”; and man became a living “beastly” soul.” God breathed into man the breath of the beast and man became a beastly soul. Man had the same appetites as the beasts, the same lusts. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.” Notice the beasts of the earth and man are all eating the same food. Whatever the beast in me eats, my man eats.
The word “field” is defined as “H7704-From an unused root meaning to spread out; a field (as flat): – country, field, ground, land, soil, X wild.” The serpent was/is the hissings, whispers to our ground/the field (our flesh), thoughts that turn to lusts for control. These beastly thoughts are good for food, pleasant to the eyes and make the beast wise in a billion different ways. The thousands of thoughts that are in the flesh, our ground, the dust we were created from, everyday that tempt us with godhood. “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: “The beast/serpent survives on our flesh’s wellbeing and these serpent thoughts slither through us and drive us to and fro. “And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” But because we are made up of two people, the old man/new man, the serpent’s lusts are not always met and are constantly being kicked by the new man not wanting to be controlled anymore. For us this means that the serpent is losing his headship to drive us to and fro as it desired. “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” The serpent thoughts walk up and down in our earth and toss us to and fro, in lusts and fears that drive us from one place to another looking for security. All mankind is made this way, even Christ’s flesh had it. He was made in flesh just like ours, yet, unlike all other men, He had the Spirit of God without measure. He was able to rule His beastly flesh and the thoughts of individualism from His Creator. He heard the thoughts of the serpent from birth, born in a manger next to beasts, from family, friends, and whoever He came into contact with, because everyone around Him was a beast. Yet, He overcame those thoughts and they never once turned to lust and conceived sin.” (Quoted from the Revelation Study in an earlier post.) Christ being tempted, yet overcoming, in the wilderness is a prophecy of Him ruling our earth (our wilderness/nations within) with a “rod of iron” during the thousand year reign. The word thousand means “teaching”.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
We cannot expect a literal thousand year reign of Christ outwardly, if He is not first ruling and reigning WITHIN us. How can we expect to be given rulership over the earth when we cannot rule our earth within – when we are still worshipping “milk” gods and attributing power to the creature which is worshipping the creature more than the Creator, through doctrines of men. In countless ways we are still guilty of idol worship.
The reason the doctrine of an outward return of Christ is so appealing and prevalent through all religions is because the beast is lazy and doesn’t want to change. My beast within wants to hang on to his rulership and use Jesus in name only.
“Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.”
He doesn’t want to actually be ruled by Christ and separate from his world inwardly which will translate to a separation from the world outwardly. An outward second coming means I can hang on to all my idol worshipping and live comfortably in a beast nature. Then when Christ comes some day, maybe in my lifetime, maybe not – what does it matter? – He’ll “poof” me out of here and give me perfection. Then I can reign over all those out there who are beneath me. Nobody’s flesh wants to hear “then shall there be great tribulation” which is why we put it on the future, for somebody else. The metamorphosis from beast to son of God within is great tribulation…now…in the life of a believer. You cannot escape it nor put it on some other generation to come.
I will post more shortly on the correct understanding of the thousand year reign.
