The number twelve signifies “one.” Twelve tribes equal one tribe called Israel. Twelve hours in a day equal one day. Twelve months equal one year. We say 12 hours in a day because this is how Christ described the day: Joh 11:9  Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

The meaning of the number “1000” is teaching. “eh’lef” and is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. H505- Properly the same as H504; hence (an ox’s head being the first letter of the alphabet, and this eventually used as a numeral) a thousand: – thousand. H504-From H502; a family; also (from the sense of yoking or taming) an ox or cow: – family, kine, oxen. 502- A primitive root, to associate with; hence to learn (and causatively to teach): – learn, teach, utter.

There are a literal 1440 minutes in a 24 hour period. 60 x 24 = 1440. Twelve of those hours in a day are figuratively in darkness and 12 are in the light. But because there is no darkness in the kingdom of God all of them are seen in The Light. Scripture teaches that God sees and understands everything:

Psa 139:12  Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

What this verse is saying is that God created it ALL. God brings teaching out of our darkness. God is NOT the darkness. He uses the darkness to teach us. Darkness is being void of understanding, void of Truth. God has no darkness in Him.

1Jn 1:5  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

The two separate periods of 12 hours are one twelve hour period because God is dispelling our darkness. This is not to be confused with false doctrines that say everything is light. This is calling evil good and good evil. If you’re in Christ, the Light, He separates you from the darkness, just as night is separated from day by the Sun. He separates us from evil. He doesn’t leave us there, in the darkness. Christ is the day star, the bright and morning star and we are referred to as children of the day, which is Israel.

2Co 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Christ is calling us out from our darkness within. We are not to commune with the dark doctrines we once held to. He is guiding us out of the night. As we grow more and more in maturity and recognize the “night” doctrines we once held, He teaches us night from day, light from darkness. This is the great tribulation for the flesh. The flesh wants so badly to hold onto its dark doctrines of self, its delusion that it is master of its domain.

Joh 21:18  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

Christ is the one who must carry us through this process. Even though He is doing all the work, we will feel the pain of our dying fleshly doctrines. All of our doctrines for self-preservation must die. Every thought I ever had about what “I shall eat and what I shall wear” must die. What you eat and what you wear is parable speak of everything about your beast who is consumed with his own identity, separate from God. Our beast is driven by fear of death. All of its beliefs and judgments are for self-preservation and are lies. A beast has no understanding that there is a Creator over it, giving it its every breath. This is living in darkness.

The 144,000 represented by 12 x 12,000 is God explaining our transition into eternity by living in the day, one SINGLE day, not many days as in a linear temporal understanding but always the present and worshipping Christ as the Creator. He is teaching (remember 1000 means “teaching”) us not to live in a 24-hour day that has 12 hours of darkness. He is bringing us out of this temporal beastly nature and creating us into a new man in His image. The 144,000 are lifted up out of time and being taught to worship God as Creator and submit to HIS AUTHORITY every minute of every day – living in the present, in the ONE DAY of REST of which Christ is our rest and He is Light. This is impossible for the flesh. We are in a process of Christ’s making. We can’t make this happen by our own efforts, though it bears repeating that we will feel the sacrifice and pain of this process. He is recreating us into something new. As the elect, we are not destined to live and die as beasts but instead He lifts us up out of this state and brings us to the “promised land” to new Jerusalem, the city of peace where we trust Him for EVERYTHING and take no thought for the morrow. He becomes our husband and we become one with Him. The verses below are parable speak of Christ leaving His home with the Father to come to us and take us as His bride and be eternally joined to Him in ONE BODY.

Gen 2:24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Mat 19:5  And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Mat 19:6  Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

There are twelve hours of darkness in a 24 hour period but, because darkness is dispelled by light, the day is seen as one twelve hour period of light. God begins to show us our darkness (like the literal sun rise), we begin to see what was hidden in the darkness. As the light grows brighter and brighter, nothing is hidden. What was hidden was our belief that we were independent from God. As Christ lightens our darkness, we become one with Him. We see we do not exist outside of Him.

Mar 12:29  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

There is said to be 12,000 chosen from each 12 tribes of the ONE called Israel. Because we are being taught, which means 1000, to love God with all my heart, soul and mind and my neighbour as myself, in each twelve hours of every day it equals 12,000.

Rev 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Rev 7:4  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Every minute, every hour, every day, every month, every year is of Christ, The Prince of God. Each name of each tribe is an offshoot of Christ and for Christ. Tribe meaning offshoot, which means “a thing that originated or developed from something else”, like a vine.
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
So each minute, each day, each month is a servant of Christ. We are bound by time right now and serving Christ as servants. We cannot do anything without Him, literally. The names of the tribes of Israel tell a parable of how Christ is served in this eon.

Juda- Christ “He shall be praised”, Rueben-“behold a son”, Gad- “a troop” a gathering=church, Asher-“blessed”, Nepthalim – “wrestling”, meaning our wrerstling is coming to an end, witnessed by the next name, Manasses – “forgetting”, Simeon- “Listening”, Levi- “joined”, Issacar- “reward”, Zabulan-“exalted”, Joseph-“let him add”, Benjamin-“son of the right hand”.

So when you put them together you get:

“Christ shall be praised, as we behold a son in the gathering of the church within us. We are blessed from the wrestling between flesh and spirit, as we forget this life. We now listen to Christ, are joined to Him, rewarded by Him as He is exalted, and let Him add to us daily because He is The Son of The right hand of The Father.” All of this is the 144,000 – 1440 minutes of every day when lived by the two witnesses, loving God with all my heart soul and mind and my neighbor as myself. Israel means “God prevails” and He does so in every minute of every day.

Rev 7:5  Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:6  Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:7  Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:8  Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

Remember the 144,000 come after the four horsemen have symbolically ridden through our lives and the 6th seal has been symbolically opened, which leaves us with no light from our own sun and what we once saw as light becomes unclean as blood. Now we are coming to worship God in every minute of every day. Every minute is being sealed as a minute lived unto our Creator, not unto us. It must be repeated that, walking in the light means He does not leave us in darkness. He does not leave me doing overt sin and He brings every thought of any freewill judgment under His authority. He does not leave me living amongst the dead but slowly draws me out from the dead thoughts that I have of a freewill. There is not a human being that ever lived, that has not come out of the womb believing he has a freewill to choose, because, as natural brute beasts, this is how God created flesh and saw it as “very good”, Gn.1:31. It is not my right to try and change the world. What I am doing is looking for more Elect. Christ is drawing the elect out of that beastly state through His word. If you are reading this and are given to see it as truth then you are being drawn from a world that lives in darkness.

God has given us a parable of this truth in a certain Cicada bug He created. It lives in the ground as a grub, in total darkness, for 18 years. Then it burrows up out of the darkness as a grub (a worm, “fear not thou worm Jacob”), attaches to a tree, a limb, or branch and a new creature comes out of it with wings. It leaves behind a shell, a figure of what it once was, as it flies away. The Elect are as like these Cicadas. We live in darkness until we are called from the ground, our flesh, where we lived in darkness. What is left behind is a shell of a man, dead, without life. All that is left is a transparent shell of what once lived in darkness. It’s transparent because I see clearly now through that shell of flesh and see the truth of what I was as a beast. After they leave their shell, they begin making a “singing” sound to draw other Cicadas to themselves. These are His words going out and is a parable of Christ calling His elect to Himself through the Truth. Only the elect will hear the singing (“Sing unto the Lord a joyful noise”) and leave all to be joined to Him. Christ does not leave us a grub that exists in darkness. He transforms us, He calls us from the dust, we leave behind what we once were and fly away in The Light, to something new. (“Behold He makes all things new.”) Every denomination or doctrine I have ever been in has had the mantra of trying to save the world and that they were going to run the world. The Elect come to see that they are not called to change the world, because it is going exactly as Christ created it. The truth that Christ came to preach is what was preached in Genesis chapter one. His Elect were in darkness, void of understanding of who they were, so Christ said “let there light”. He separates the light from the darkness and begins creating a new heaven and a new earth within them. He resurrects us from the shell of what we were and we fly away. The dust that we fed on as a grub was our flesh and now we fly away from that dirt shell as a new creation. The desires of eating dust fade away as we fly away a new creation in The Light, Who is Christ.
